The Forum has seen amazing growth in interest and participation of food and drink businesses since the official launch on 15th June 2007. The movement started with the assistance and collaboration of The Old Vicarage, Artisan, Nonna's, Catch, B'oho, Simply Chinese, The Walnut Club, Rafters, Cubana, Ashoka and UK Mama. Now food and drink operators all over the region are asking to be listed for their free membership. This exceptional growth in new members will really allow the Forum to push forward across the whole sphere of Sheffield post code areas.
A spokesman for the Forum said; "We aim to launch a series of engaging initiatives with our partner restaurants to massage extra dining business throughout the region and we expect projects to push new boundries in customer / restaurateur dining interaction. It is a really exciting time to be a part of the Forum".

A consortium of fine restaurateurs has come together in a bid to turn Sheffield into a culinary capital. Members of the newly formed Sheffield Area Restaurant Forum (SARF) want to put the city on the map as a great place to eat and drink.
