Proposed Role of Key Stakeholders

 

Proposed role of Sheffield Hallam University

Sheffield Hallam University would be the permanent host for the Forum and it would manage the day-to-day operations of the Forum. This would include arranging speakers and organising meetings (including those of the steering group), workshops, seminars etc., maintaining a database of members, providing a link to other organisations, pursuing funding, managing finances and maintaining financial records etc., maintaining a website for the Forum undertaking research projects etc.


Proposed role of Sheffield City Council

Sheffield City Council’s role within the forum will be to provide information about development opportunities for restaurants, as a result of regeneration projects happening within the city centre. Facilitate liaison with other City council departments such as planning, highways, licensing and any other department that will provide a smooth transition for developing high quality city centre restaurants. Sheffield Tourism to provide marketing and promotion opportunities linked to events and other initiatives.  NEXT
