Restaurant Information

In the centre of Ridgeway village, The Old Vicarage stands overlooking the idyllic Moss Valley conservation area.  This delightful country house, built in 1846, for the Rev. Alexander Crawford Bromehead, is set in extensive grounds laid out by a celebrated Victorian horticulturist.  Its rolling lawns and hidden copses still contain many fine specimen trees such as Cedar, Yew and Bay, from the original plantings in the 1850s.

During its conversion to a restaurant of national standing, an extensive one year restoration was carried out, returning the house to its former splendour, to create just the right setting for good food and wine.  Click here for more information
