A Discussion Group for Hungry Minds
Starting Monday 15th October at 6pm
This is a group for people who are interested in discussing philosophical issues in an informal way. It is based broadly on the principles of the Socrate's Cafe; we have no ‘expert’, we are all responsible for keeping the discussion on track and making sure we stick to our aims and agreements.
We meet on the third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. in The Rude Shipyard to discuss a philosophical question over a meal (finishing by about 9). This is the kind of question that cannot be answered by finding out facts, but by sharing and examining our own opinions and ideas.
Booking required. £7.50 includes a meal and a piece of cake.
