All that Jazz at the Copthorne
The Copthorne Hotel Sheffield swings into action this autumn with a performance from an up and coming jazz singer.
Paul Pashley will be singing exciting new material written by award winning writers Elliot Kennedy, Gary Barlow and Bryan Adams, as well as classics made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro and Dean Martin.
The performance is the soundtrack to a four course dinner of seasonal indulgence in the Copthorne’s 18Fifty5 restaurant on Saturday 6th November at 7.30pm.
To start, diners can enjoy a butternut squash, ginger and apple soup with cheddar and thyme toasts. This is followed by roast duck breast with pomme purée, sticky red cabbage, parsnips and a Cointreau and thyme jus. The vegetarian option is a winter root vegetable, watercress and goats cheese strudel on a roasted tomato and red pepper sauce.
Diners are then invited to cleanse their palettes with a warm apple toddy before tucking in to a baked walnut and date pudding with brandy syrup and vanilla ice cream.
With fabulous food, great music and good company, the evening promises to be a treat for couples or groups of friends alike. The event follows the hugely popular “And the Beat Goes On” which sold out weeks before the event.
