The Rutland Arms re-opened in October 2009 and has set out to provide simple, classic food: well sourced, prepared and served in a relaxed, true pub atomosphere.

Our chef Paul Hil enjoys making quality food, focusing on 'getting it right', be it baking his own bread, making his own baked beans or preparing endless quantities of the very popular and delicious home-cooked chips.

With 8 real ales, real cider a fair sized wine list as well as all the usual pub drinks, the Rutland Arms offers something for everyone.

Located five minutes from the train station and close to the City centre the pub is convenient for a variety of occasions.
