One of the handful of UK restaurants to hold a coveted Michelin Star. Tessa's cooking is grounded in nature and evocative of the seasons. Tessa is a Fellow of the Institute of Master Chefs of Great Britain. Her innovative modern style, which mixes British and Mediterranean influences with those from further afield, has earned her recognition from all the major food guides. She is a country cook whose work revolves around her garden. Like all country gardens, it not only delights the eye, but also adds to the larder. All of the fresh produce used in Tessa's kitchens at The Old Vicarage is grown in the Vicarage Kitchen Gardens or comes from the nearby farms.
Short lunch menu: Two courses £30.00, Three courses £40.00, available Tuesday-Friday from 12.30.
Four course menu: £60.00 to include dessert or cheese; this full menu is available at all opening times.
Gourmet menu: 7 course tasting menu £65.00; the tasting menu is composed of 7 lighter courses and is designed to be taken by the whole table.
