"Renowned for its fine food our Michelin-starred Dining Room enjoys an outstanding reputation among connoisseurs for its comfort and gastronomy, continuing to surprise and delight the many returning guests. Baslow Hall is set within beautifully maintained gardens, where there are many varieties of vegetables and fruits grown which are used to supplement the Kitchen. While away the afternoon with a leisurely lunch and then stroll around the delightful grounds and Max's walled kitchen garden. Or enjoy free Wi-Fi over an impressive business lunch. Lunches are served Tuesday to Saturday from midday: two courses £28.00 and three courses £33.00. Sundays are a real family day with a menu featuring roasts as well as more contemporary dishes. Traditional Sunday Lunch is £38.00.
Max and his Head Chef, Rupert Rowley, have collected a clutch of culinary accolades for their imaginative cuisine. As you would expect, they cook with the season making use of the very best of local produce which might include Derbyshire Spring Lamb, Chatsworth Venison, and Wild Hare alongside imported essentials such as Caviar and Truffles. First-time visitors will be surprised by the extra courses in the evening - the hot and cold canapés, the surprise savoury, the pre-dessert and the array of petits fours that are a meal in themselves. Dinner is served each evening from 7.00pm (residents only on Sunday evening). Our overnight guests welcome the tranquility of our rural location. Baslow Hall boasts a total of eleven bedrooms. The six traditional-styled bedrooms are in the Main House and feature lavish fabrics and ornate plasterwork ceilings. In contrast the styling of the five Garden House bedrooms are more contemporary and are situated adjacent to the Main House. Whether you come to stay overnight or visit us in search of quality food in beautiful surroundings, you will be a most welcome guest."
