Roses

Roses the Bakers is a multi-award winning  family run business now in its fourth generation. Originally established in 1940 at the Ecclesall Road premises, the bakery was spread over 5 floors, with the shop on the front of the building. The bakery became well known in Sheffield for producing high class bakery goods and expanded with the purchase of the shop at Millhouses and then taking on the lease of a shop in Crosspool.

As the business grew further the bakery at Ecclesall became inadequate and in 1998 a purpose build premises was built on a reclaimed industrial site at Brightside. This site also included a sandwich shop on the front of the bakery.

 

Roses the Bakers are well known across Sheffield for producing a wide range of high quality speciality bread and confectionary.
All products are made fresh each day by highly skilled bakers and confectioners.

As well as having four of their own shops, Roses also supply over 70 wholesale customers across Sheffield and Derbyshire. These range from both the Universities in Sheffield to some of the finest restaurants and small Deli’s.
