Pumpkin Oil

Pumpkin Seed Oil is a delicious, versatile and nutritious cold pressed, extra virgin oil. Produced from the seeds of the Styrian Pumpkin. It is 100% pure.

Pumpkin Seed Oil is very versatile, it has a unique nutty taste and can be used on salads, vegetables, meats and even vanilla ice cream.  The oil is a very dark green but hold it up to the light and it takes on a fantastic deep red colour (technically known as diochromatism). It takes the seeds of an amazing 40 pumpkins to make 1 litre of oil, or an even more astounding 8 acres to make 100 litres. The entire process is done by hand and is very labour intensive.

This oil is as good as oil gets, it is from one small farm and it is not diluted as some cheaper oils are.It is crammed with B1, B2, B6, D and heaps more vitamin E than olive, corn or sunflower oil. Not to mention the important omega 3, 6 and 9.The oil is produced by the Adanic and Hutton Family in Slovenia and bottled in Sheffield, England.
